Good Friday

Today, I’m overwhelmed by the goodness of God. In that he loved me. He trusted that if I was given an opportunity to change my mind, I would reject death and accept life. He sent his son, Jesus, the Christ to bring the message of repentance and forgiveness that whoever accepted this message, will not perish but have everlasting life. Those who held me captive demanded payment by death for my wrongs. I was being led to be stoned. Jesus spoke his message of repentance and forgiveness, but it was rejected. When he insisted, they freed me and held him captive instead. He was stripped, beaten and nailed to a cross, to die for my sins.

Today, I’m overwhelmed by the faithfulnes of Jesus, the Christ. He trusted that if I was given an opportunity to change my mind, I would reject death and accept life. God demonstrated his love for me in that, while I was a sinner, Christ died for me. – Faithfully.

Today, I’m overwhelmed by the commitment of the Spirit of God. He trusts that if I’m given an opportunity to change my mind, I would reject death and accept life. In that he continuously remind me of my place and identity in Him, in Jesus, in God, my God.
